OnePlus 12 Global Variant With 100W Fast Charging Support Clears CQC Certification

OnePlus will soon unveil its upcoming flagship – the OnePlus 12. The company, last month, showcased the OnePlus 12 display features, in collaboration with BOE, at an event in China. The OnePlus 12 is expected to launch in global markets including India soon after its China debut.

The OnePlus 12 global variant with model number CPH2581 was earlier spotted on IMDA and TDRA certification databases. Now, we have spotted the OnePlus 12 Global variant on the China Quality Certification (CQC) website. Let us take a closer look at the details.

OnePlus 12 Global (CPH2581) CQC

The OnePlus 12 CQC certification listing reveals that the upcoming flagship will feature support for 100W fast charging. The listing reveals support for 10W (5V/2A), 80W (11V/7.3A), and 100W (11V/9.1A) fast charging over a Type-C port. This means that the OnePlus 12 Global variant will feature the same charging speed as that of the Chinese variant.

To those unaware, earlier, a 3C certification listing had confirmed that the OnePlus 12 Chinese variant with model number PJD110 will feature support for 100W fast charging. The OnePlus 12 Global variant was earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the it will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood.

Earlier, OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 12 will feature a X1 OLED display, manufactured by BOE. The flagship smartphone’s display panel is confirmed to feature 2K resolution and 2600nits peak brightness. The OnePlus 12 is also the first handset with a 2K resolution panel to obtain DisplayMate A+ rating.

The OnePlus 12 is tipped to feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX966 sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX581 sensor with ultra-wide-angle functionality, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The upcoming OnePlus flagship is also tipped to feature support for 50W wireless charging.
