OnePlus 12 Global Variant Acquires NBTC Certification Ahead of Global Launch

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new flagship handset – the OnePlus 12. The brand, a few weeks back, showcased the OnePlus 12 display technology, at an event in China, in collaboration with display manufacturer – BOE. The OnePlus 12 Chinese variant (model number PJD110) and Global variant (model number CPH2581) have already been spotted on several certification websites.

In the latest development, we have spotted the upcoming OnePlus 12 global variant with the model number CPH2581 on NBTC certification website. OnePlus 12’s appearance on the NBTC certification website once again hints at its imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Oneplus 12 NBTC

The OnePlus 12 with the model number CPH2581 made an appearance on Thailand’s NBTC certification database. In terms of specifications, the listing doesn’t reveal absolutely anything. However, some of the key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus flagship are already known, thanks to certification websites.

The OnePlus 12 global variant was earlier spotted on Geekbench benchmark database which revealed that the upcoming flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 brings about 30% faster CPU and 25% faster GPU compared to its predecessor.

Recently, the OnePlus 12 global variant acquired China Quality Certification (CQC) which confirmed that the handset will feature support for 100W fast charging. The OnePlus 12 Chinese variant’s 3C certification listing had revealed the same earlier.

The OnePlus 12’s design renders were leaked on the web a few weeks ago. The leaked renders revealed that the handset will feature a triple-rear camera setup. The OnePlus 12 is confirmed to feature a Sony LYTIA sensor. The handset is tipped to offer a 50MP Sony IMX581 sensor with ultra-wide-angle functionality, and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom.

The upcoming OnePlus flagship is also tipped to support 50W wireless charging.
