The upcoming OnePlus tablet will go on sale through Amazon and Flipkart, apart from OnePlus’s website. The micro-site of the forthcoming tablet is already live on both e-commerce platforms, along with its confirmed specifications. Mukul Sharma, aka stufflistings, recently shared some specifications of the upcoming device through its X (formerly Twitter) account. A user named OneNormalUsername has revealed the complete specifications of the forthcoming tablet through a post in his X account.
OnePlus Pad Go Expected Specifications
The tipster confirms that OnePlus will debut its affordable tablet in 8GB RAM + 256GB variant. OnePlus is tipped to use the UFS 2.2 for the internal storage of its upcoming tablet. The Chinese smartphone giant is also tipped to launch the tablet in a lower 128GB variant with 8GB RAM. Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad Go will feature an MTK6789 chipset, aka MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
The chipset is popular among budget smartphones and powers over a dozen devices. The chipset is built on a 6nm process and features two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz and Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The forthcoming budget tablet from OnePlus will run on Oxygen OS 13.2 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The tipster adds that OnePlus will launch the device in two variants with model numbers OPD2305 and OPD2304. The Wi-Fi variant of the tablet has the model number OPD2305, and the other belongs to the 4G LTE + Wi-Fi variant. OnePlus is also tipped to equip the tablet with a large 8000mAh battery. The upcoming OnePlus tablet will rival the budget tablets from Realme and other brands.
The tipster further divulges that OnePlus will equip the device with an 8MP rear camera. The tablet will also feature an 8MP selfie camera placed horizontally in the large bezel area surrounding the display. OnePlus will equip the tablet with a USB Type-C port owing to industry standards, and the port will feature support for USB 2.0 speeds.
Another post suggests that OnePlus will equip the tablet with support for expanding storage up to 1TB. The upcoming OnePlus Pad Go is also tipped to be lighter in comparison to the OnePlus Pad. The forthcoming budget tablet will weigh 523 grams as opposed to the 552 grams in the OnePlus Pad. OnePlus recently confirmed that the tablet will feature Dolby Atmos support for quad speakers.
The previous teasers shared by the brand reveal that OnePlus will equip the tablet with a large 11.5-inch IPS LCD panel. The LCD panel will have an aspect ratio of 7:5 and 2.4K resolution with support for ReadFit Eye Care. OnePlus will equip the tablet with a dual-tone finish similar to its elder sibling. The tablet is also slated to receive Oxygen OS 14 update in the future.
