Oppo Reno 8 Series Specifications Leaked Ahead of May 23 Launch: To Feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 120 Hz Display

Oppo is prepping up to launch the Oppo Reno 8 series in the Chinese market. The brand is expected to launch three handsets under the Reno8 lineup – the Oppo Reno8, the Oppo Reno8 SE, and the Oppo Reno8 Pro. In a new development, the tipster Wow Technology, on the Chinese micro-blogging site – Weibo, has claimed that Oppo will unveil the Reno8 series devices on May 23 in its domestic market.

Ahead of the launch, the specifications of the upcoming Reno8 series devices have also surfaced on the web, courtesy of the famous tipster Digital Chat Station. As per the tipster, one of the upcoming Reno8 series devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Let us take a closer look at the Oppo Reno8 series specifications and features.

Oppo Reno8 Series Specifications

The leakster has revealed the specifications of two of the upcoming Reno8 series handset which might be the Reno8 Pro and the Reno8. Going by what DCS claims, the Reno8 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and MariSilicon X.

The Reno8 Pro is said to offer a 6.62-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might weigh 188grams and is said to be about 7.57mm in terms of thickness. The device is might come with an X-axis linear motor and NFC support.

The Reno8, on the other hand, might come with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display. The handset is said to be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1300 processor. The device might weigh 179grams and measure about 7.67mm in terms of thickness.

The Reno8 series devices might offer a 50MP camera and a 32MP selfie camera. Both the upcoming devices are is said to be equipped with a 4500mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
