Google Pixel 8A: Design, Expected Specifications

The retail box images confirm that Google Pixel 8A will sport a design similar to the previous renders that surfaced online. The pictures reveal that the smartphone will come with rounded corners, and this will be slightly more rounded than the predecessor phone.

The smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup in a rectangular camera island similar to the Pixel 7A smartphone, going by the leaked image.

The power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side of the smartphone. Google will also ship the smartphone with the Google logo on the middle of the rear panel. The retail packaging confirms that the device will sport the model number G6GPR. It also reveals that the smartphone will support 27W wired fast charging.

The retail packaging showcases the Black colour of the upcoming A series smartphone. The upcoming handset is said to measure 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm. Previous, live images confirmed that Google will ship the smartphone with a centred punch hole to house the selfie camera.

The Geekbench listing obtained by the device suggests that it will ship with an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 chipset. The octa-core Tensor G3 chipset will be paired with the Mali G715 GPU. The smartphone scored 1218 points in single-core and 3175 points in multi-core tests. Google will debut the smartphone with Android 14 out of the box.
