Sony has announced PlayStation Plus free monthly games for April 2024. After offering four free games last month, it has returned to the typical three-game lineup. These include Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer. Here are the details.
PlayStation Plus April 2024 Free Monthly Games
The free games will be playable, starting April 2. You will need to be a PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, or Deluxe subscriber to redeem these games. Once redeemed, you will be able to play them as long as you have an active membership.
Immortals of Aveum (PS5)
Immortals of Aveum is a first-person magic shooter video game from Electronic Arts (EA). You get to play as Jake who joins an elite order of battlemages to save the world of Aveum. There are three colours of magic that you need to master as you aim to stop the Everwar. It is a title exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
Minecraft Legends (PS4 and PS5)
Minecraft Legends is a spin-off to the globally popular title Minecraft. It is a real-time action strategy game where your goal is to stop Piglin’s armies. You will have to form alliances and build strategies to eventually save the Overworld. The game has versions for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Skul: The Hero Slayer
Skul: The Hero Slayer is a 2D action platformer video game from NeoWiz. You will play as a skeleton called Skul. Your goal is to save the Demon King from an army of enemies. Skul can wear new skulls to get new abilities and powers which will be helpful in combat. The game was released for PlayStation 4 in October 2021.
Apart from these free games, Sony will offer a free Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. This free bundle includes the following in-game perks:
