Poco is gearing up for the launch of the F4 series. The company has confirmed that it will launch the F4 series soon in India and other markets. Ahead of the official launch, Poco has confirmed that the vanilla F4 5G will launch in India and other markets with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. The company has not yet revealed the launch date of the device though.

Poco F4 5G will launch as a new premium smartphone soon in India. Ahead of its official launch, the Indian variant of the F4 5G is listed on Geekbench. According to the listing, the phone has the model number 22021211RI. The listing reveals that the F4 5G India variant has a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The company has already confirmed this piece of information, claiming that it is the most optimised chipset in the Snapdragon 800 series.
The chipset has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz and is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. In addition to this, the listing confirms that the India variant will launch with 12GB of RAM. This variant is likely to come with 256GB of internal storage. We can expect Poco to launch an 8GB RAM variant of the phone as well, which will offer 128GB of internal storage.
The phone runs Android 12 out of the box and will have a layer of MIUI 13 on top. It scored 978 and 3254 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
The F4 5G is rumoured to launch as a rebadged Redmi K40S from China. If true, the device will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The F4 5G global variant is expected to launch with a 64MP main camera sensor. It will have OIS support. The main camera will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 20MP front camera.
Poco is expected to pack a 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Other details of the phone should surface online in the coming days.
