The teaser image of the Xiaomi SU7 introduces the car in an elegant grey hue, hinting at potential additional colour choices upon its launch. The accompanying caption, ‘Hello, Xiaomi SU7. Welcome to Human x Car x Home’ suggests a tighter integration with smartphones and smart home accessories. Notably, the vehicle is confirmed to be powered by Xiaomi HyperOS, facilitating smooth software integration between the Xiaomi car and compatible smartphones.
Xiaomi SU7 Key Features
Key features highlighted in the teaser image encompass five-spoke alloy wheels paired with Michelin tyres, complemented by distinctive Brembo yellow brake calipers and the presence of the ‘Mi’ logo. The teaser also showcases a side-view mirror equipped with a camera, promising enhanced visibility of the surroundings. Inside the car, notable elements include a rearview mirror and a generously sized infotainment screen reminiscent of Tesla cars. Design-wise, the Xiaomi SU7 opts for smaller side-view mirrors and flush door handles, contributing to an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The Xiaomi SU7 EV appears to be a premium sedan in the C-class category, competing with established brands like Tesla, NIO, and Geely. Camouflaged photographs of the SU7 EV that have recently surfaced serve as evidence for the existence of a LiDAR sensor strategically positioned on the roof. An active wing designed to catch and redirect air is notable, a feature typically associated with racing and high-performance cars where speed optimization is vital.
