The POCO M6 5G is set to launch in India on December 22 which is tomorrow. The device is expected to be priced at under Rs 10,000 in India, as per a new teaser and it could be also a rebrand of the Redmi 13C 5G as revealed by tipster Kacper Skrzypek a few days back. While we wait for the launch of the smartphone, POCO now has confirmed the SoC details of the device through a teaser posted on X (formerly Twitter).
POCO M6 5G Will Feature 50MP Primary Camera
As per the teaser shared by POCO India, the upcoming POCO M6 5G will be powered by Dimensity 6100+ SoC. This is the same chipset which also powers the Redmi 13C 5G model.
The teaser shared by POCO previously also suggests that the M6 5G will launch in India in Galactic Black and Orion Blue colour options. Poco has also revealed that the M6 5G will feature a dual-camera setup, which will consist of a 50MP primary lens.
Assuming that the POCO M6 5G will arrive as a rebrand of the Redmi 13C 5G model, we can expect it to feature a 6.74-inch display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device might pack up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also might have a microSD card slot for storage expansion beyond 256GB.
As far as the rest of the key features go, we can expect the handset to feature a 0.08MP secondary lens, a 5MP selfie camera, a dual-SIM card slot, and a 5,000mAh battery which could offer 18W fast charging support. The security features that the device might offer include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support.
