Possible iQOO 12 Series Global Variant Appears on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC Ahead of India Launch on December 12

iQOO will be launching the iQOO 12 series smartphones in China on November 7. We have been learning new details about the upcoming iQOO 12 lineup courtesy of several leaks and certification listings. The iQOO 12 series smartphones were spotted on the 3C certification website a few days back. The listing revealed that the iQOO 12 and the iQOO 12 Pro will be offering 120W fast charging support. Additionally, the iQOO 12 made an appearance on Geekbench recently. The benchmark listing confirmed that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Now, ahead of the launch, the global iQOO 12 series smartphone has appeared on Geekbench.

iQOO 12 Global Model Will Come With 12GB RAM

The benchmark listing confirms that the possible iQOO 12 series smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device is listed on the Geekbench website with a model number as I2220. The listing also details that the device will pack up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone will boot Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 14 skin on top as revealed by the test result.

As confirmed by iQOO today, the iQOO 12 will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display which will have a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display panel will have a 3,000 nits brightness and a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The device is also tipped to offer an IP54 rating support for water and dust resistance purposes, while the Pro model could have an IP68 rating.

For imaging purpose, the iQOO 12 series is rumoured to feature a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and a 64MP OV64B telephoto lens. The lineup might flaunt a 16MP front-facing camera. The vanilla iQOO 12 model is also confirmed to feature a Q1 chip which will enhance the gaming experience.

As for the iQOO 12 Pro, it is confirmed to feature a Samsung’s E7 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Similar to the iQOO 12, the Pro model will be also powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The lineup is tipped to debut in three RAM and storage configurations. The base model might pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, while the other two variants might come with 16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage.

The iQOO 12 is also set to launch in India on December 12. The device will be available for purchase in India via Amazon.
