Realme 9 series is expected to debut early next year. The company is yet to confirm the official launch date of its budget smartphone series as it gears up for the launch of the Realme GT 2 series launch on January 4. Realme 9i is likely to be the first smartphone in the 9 series to debut in January. Details of the device have leaked multiple times in the past. The smartphone has also visited a few certification websites, hinting at an imminent launch. The latest listing is on Geekbench, which reveals the performance unit details of the device. Realme 9i launch is imminent as the smartphone is listed on Geekbench. The device has the model number RMX3491. As per the listing, the phone draws power from a Snapdragon 680 SoC. The 4G processor was announced earlier this year and comes with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. it also has four efficiency cores clocked at 1.90GHz.

The device comes with an Adreno 610 GPU. The variant listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM. We can expect Realme to launch a 6GB RAM variant of the device as well. It is likely to come with 64GB and 128GB storage options. Realme’s upcoming smartphone scored 382 and 1556 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. The device runs Android 11 out of the box and will have a layer of Realme UI 2.0 on top.

Other details of the device leaked in the past. The phone was listed on AliExpress, which revealed the specs and colour options. As per the listing, the phone will arrive in shades of Black and Blue. It will pack a 5000 mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. The phone will sport a 6.59-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution. It is likely to come with a 90Hz refresh rate support. On the back, there will be a 50MP triple-camera setup. The device will have a 16MP front camera sensor. Other details include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
