Realme Buds Air 5 Pro Officially Teased to Launch in India; Amazon Availability Confirmed

Realme launched the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro along with the Realme 11 series smartphones in China. The TWS was tipped to launch along with the Realme 11 Pro series smartphones in India. However, Realme didn’t launch the device with the 11 Pro series smartphones. Realme had launched the TWS in several markets, including Europe.

The company later launched Realme Buds Wireless 3 and the Realme Narzo 60 series smartphones. The OEM also unveiled Realme Pad 2 and Realme C53 separately. Realme has started teasing the launch of Air 5 Pro in India. The teaser suggests that Realme will soon launch the device in India.

The image shared by Realme reveals the tagline “Feel the UnBEATable.” The company adds that the product will be launched soon. The poster shared by Realme doesn’t reveal any launch date for the upcoming device. However, Realme has confirmed that the device will be available through Amazon. Realme has stated that the upcoming audio product will offer flagship-level performance and features.

Realme Buds Air 5 Pro Specifications

Realme equips the device with an 11mm woofers dual driver and 6mm micro planar tweeters. The company claims the device has active noise cancellation (ANC) that can reduce noise by up to 50 dB. Realme brings support for the latest Bluetooth 5.3 protocol for better connectivity. The device features support for SBC, AAC, and LDHC audio codecs.

The buds also get support for Hi-Res audio support. Realme features the device with support for dual device connection. The Air 5 Pro gets support for Google’s quick pair connectivity. The pairing screen of the TWS will pop up on the smartphone screen upon opening the lid. Realme brings support for the Realme Links app, which can be used to update the firmware and customize the controls.

The app also brings support for creating personalized audio tuning. The TWS gets six mics and features AI ENC noise cancellation for better clarity during calls. The earbuds also get support for touch controls. The controls can be used to change music, accept or reject calls, and more. Realme launched the earbuds in Sunrise City and Starry Night Black colour options.

Realme claims the device offers a battery life of up to 40 hours at 50% volume without ANC. The individual earbuds will also offer an 11-hour battery backup without ANC at 50% volume. The TWS gets support for Dart fast charging tech. The company claims the device will take around 2 hours for a full charge. The company also adds that the earbuds take around 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 100.

Realme equips the device with IPX5 water resistance to make it suitable for all weather conditions. Realme launched the Air 5 Pro in China for RMB 499 (approx. Rs 5,740). The company is likely to price the device under Rs 5,000 in India. The device will compete against OPPO Enco Air 3 Pro.
