Realme is all set to launch its next flagship GT-series smartphone, the Realme GT 2 Pro in China on December 9. The company has confirmed the launch date of the Realme GT 2 Pro via its official Weibo account yesterday. The device is confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which Qualcomm announced earlier this month. The Realme GT 2 Pro launch date lines up with that of the Moto Edge X30, considering that Lenovo-owned smartphone maker already had confirmed to launch its flagship Edge X30 on December 9. The Realme GT 2 Pro specifications and renders were leaked by OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles a few days back. As per the leaked renders, the Realme GT 2 Pro will have a triple-camera setup, ceramic panel, and a Nexus 6P like design. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display that might have a WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As mentioned above, this upcoming handset under the hood will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The device is expected to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset is tipped to boot Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
