We had spotted the Realme X mid-range smartphone with model number RMX1901 on the TENAA website last month. Nearly two weeks after the listing went live, TENAA has updated it with complete specifications of the Realme X. Realme, on the other hand, has confirmed on its Weibo page that the Realme X will come equipped with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor.
Realme X Will Have a 48MP Sony IMX586 Primary Sensor
The Weibo post confirms the Realme X will be equipped with a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the back. Realme has gone with the Sony IMX586 sensor and clubbed it with a large f/1.7 aperture. The smartphone will have a Super Night Scene mode as well, which should help users capture some great shots in low light. A sample photo has also been shared by a Weibo user. As can be seen below, the image has a good amount of detail, just as you would expect from a 48MP sensor.
Realme X Full Specs Revealed
Moving on to the hardware specifications, the updated TENAA listing confirms the Realme X will feature an AMOLED panel measuring 6.5-inches diagonally. It will be a 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, Realme X is listed to be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. The octa-core chipset will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Realme X will have a 48MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP pop-up selfie snapper. The TENAA listing also confirms the presence of an In-display fingerprint sensor. As revealed previously, the smartphone will have a 3680mAh capacity battery, likely supporting OPPO’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. As for color options, the Realme X will be available in Black, Blue, and White colors.
The Realme X is set to make its global debut in China on May 15, alongside the Realme X Youth Edition. Unlike the Realme X, the Realme X Youth Edition is not an all-new smartphone. It is simply a rebranded version of the Realme 3 Pro sold in India. The Realme X Youth Edition TENAA listing has also been updated with complete specifications. It comes with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display panel featuring a waterdrop notch at the top and 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution. TENAA has not specified the chipset powering the smartphone, although we can expect the Realme X Youth Edition to feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset as the Indian Realme 3 Pro. The smartphone will be sold in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. For optics, the Realme X Youth Edition will sport a 16MP + 5MP setup at the rear and a 25MP snapper on the front. As for color options, the Realme X Youth Edition will be available in Nitro Blue and Electro-optic Violet colors in China. Just like the Realme X, the Realme X Youth Ediiton will also be running on the ColorOS 6.0 version out of the box.
