Realme X7, X7 Pro phones with Mediatek Dimensity chips could be coming to India soon, reveals CEO tweet

Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth has hinted towards the launch of Realme X7 Series with MediaTek Dimensity processors in India.

Realme is on a launch spree, the company has launched 10 different smartphones in the last 100 days in India. Earlier today, Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth took it to twitter to ask the opinion of Realme fans and users on the MediaTek Dimensity processor. Realme, under its portfolio, has various smartphones powered by Media Dimensity SoCs but all those smartphones are exclusive to the Chinese market as of now. Realme V5, Realme V3, Realme X7, Realme X7 Pro, and the recently launched Realme Q2, Realme Q2 Pro, and Realme Q2i are the Realme smartphones that pack MediTek Dimensity SoC under the hood.

Realme X7 Series might launch soon in India!

An hour later, Mr. Sheth cleared some air and hinted towards the arrival of Realme X7 series in India. To recall, the Realme X7 series, including Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro launched in China last month. These devices look similar to the Realme 7 Pro, but come with a different paint job.

Realme X7 Pro and Realme X7: Price

Realme X7 is priced at RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs. 19,610) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs RMB 2,399 (approx. Rs. 26,150). Realme X7 Pro starts at RMB 2,199 (approx. Rs. 23,970) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, RMB 2,499 (approx. Rs. 27,240) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and RMB 3,199 (approx. Rs. 34,870) for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

Realme X7 Pro: Specifications

Realme X7 Pro packs a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate, 1200nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under-the-hood it packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor which is built on a 7nm fabrication process. It packs a Mali-G77 GPU, with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage.

The Realme X7 Pro features a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary shooter that comes with f/1.8 aperture. The primary sensor on the device gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture and 119° field of view, a 2MP retro portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is also an LED flash housed inside the squircle camera module. For the selfies, the Realme X7 Pro offers a 32MP front shooter with f/2.45 aperture.

There is a 4,500mAh battery powering the smartphone that comes with 65W SuperDART charging support. Realme X7 Pro packs a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It has super linear stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone weighs just 184grams and is 8.5mm in thickness.

Under-the-hood, it packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor which is built on a 7nm fabrication process. It packs up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage.
