Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones such as the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G in India on January 4. The upcoming Redmi Note 13 series is set to arrive as a successor to the Redmi Note 12 lineup. While we wait for the launch of the Redmi Note 13 series, Xiaomi has now reduced the pricing of the Redmi Note 12 4G smartphone in India. The device which was launched in India for Rs 14,999 is now available for purchase at a lower price.
Redmi Note 12 4G Price in India, Availability
The Redmi Note 12 4G base model, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, is available for Rs 11,999. The variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage now retails for Rs 13,999. The Redmi Note 12 4G 64GB and 128GB storage variants initially retailed for Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.
The newer pricing of the device is reflected on the company’s official website as well as Flipkart. Additionally, if you purchase the device via Flipkart, you can get Rs 1,500 additional off with select Credit and Debit card transactions. The smartphone comes in Lunar Black, Sunrise Gold and Ice Blue colours.
Should You Buy Redmi Note 12 4G, or Wait For Redmi Note 13 5G?
The Redmi Note 12 4G is a value-for-money smartphone, considering the features you get with it. Also, with the recent price drop and with card offers, the device can be purchased for as low as Rs 10,500. The smartphone features an AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 685 SoC which can handle all the tasks efficiently.
The device also has a 50MP primary camera which takes some good images. Also, the smartphone supports 33W fast charging. However, the device lacks a 5G support.
In the same price range, devices such as POCO M6 5G, Redmi 12C, and POCO M6 Pro 5G are available with 5G connectivity, however, they come with an IPS display and have slower charging support.
