In the latest development, the Redmi Note 12 (4G variant) hands-on video has surfaced on Instagram. The hands-on video showcases the retail box of the upcoming Note series smartphone which reveals that the device will be marketed as the Redmi Note 12. The unboxing images and hands-on video reveal the key specifications of the device which are in line with the leaked information that surfaced a couple of weeks ago.
Redmi Note 12: Specifications, Features, and Price
The Note 12 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution. The display panel will accommodate the selfie shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 12 is tipped to sport an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. The Snapdragon 685 is yet to be announced and it might just be an overclocked Snapdragon 680. The Note 12 could be the first device to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. The smartphone will feature 4GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. It will boot MIUI 14, based on Android 13.

Talking about the optics, the upcoming Note 12 series smartphone will offer a triple-rear camera setup. The camera setup on the device will consist of a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone will rely on a 13MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
The Redmi Note 12 will come equipped with a 5000mAH battery unit and 33W fast charging support. The handset will make use of a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone will retail in three colour options – Onyx Gray, Mint Green, and Ice Blue. The handset is tipped to weigh 183.5 grams and measure 165.66 × 75.96 × 7.85 mm.
The Redmi Note 12 will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will also feature an IP53 rating and a micro-SD card slot. The device is tipped to be priced at €279 (approx Rs 24,490)
