Samsung Galaxy A05 Spotted on FCC, BIS Certifications; Launch Seems Imminent

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy A04 successor in the form of the Samsung Galaxy A05. The upcoming Galaxy A05 was recently spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification. The Bluetooth SIG listing revealed that the device will have Bluetooth v5.3 support. Furthermore, the handset was also spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance certification. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing confirmed that the device will boot Android 13 out of the box. While we wait for the launch, the Galaxy A05 now has received the FCC and BIS certification.

Samsung Galaxy A05 Launch Seems Imminent

The FCC certification discloses the model number of the Galaxy A05 as SM-A055M. Additionally, the certification also confirms that the smartphone will have a 4G LTE support. The device will have Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and 5.8Ghz frequency bands support. Apart from these details, no other specifications of the phone are revealed by the FCC certification. Besides, the FCC certification, the Galaxy A05 also is spotted at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, which does suggest that the smartphone will also launch in India.

Currently, the specifications of the Galaxy A05 remain unknown. It is revealed earlier that the smartphone will boot Android 13 out of the box, and it will have Bluetooth v5.3 support. The Galaxy A05 will be debuting as a successor to the Galaxy A04 which was launched last year in August. As of now, the launch date of the Galaxy A05 is yet to be revealed. Considering that the A04 debuted in August 2022, we can expect the A05 to launch later this month.

To recall, the Galaxy A04 features a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Helio P35 SoC which is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A04 features a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the A04 relies on a 5MP camera. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone comes in Black, Green, White, and Copper colours, and it is priced at Rs 11,999 in India.
