Samsung, last month, unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G smartphones. At the launch, the company confirmed that it will soon launch yet another A-series smartphone – Samsung Galaxy A24. Ahead of the launch, the renders and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A24 have surfaced on the web, courtesy of WinFuture and SnoppyTech.
The renders of the Samsung Galaxy A24 surfaced in the past as well but the latest renders show us the device in three colour options. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A24 was previously spotted on the Geekbench database which revealed the presence of a MediaTek Helio G99 and 4GB of RAM under the hood. Let us take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy A24 design renders, specifications, and leaked price.
Samsung Galaxy A24: Leaked Specifications and Price
The Samsung Galaxy A24 is tipped to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixel) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and an Infinity-U notch.
Under the hood, the upcoming A-series smartphone will sport an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor and an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It will reportedly be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. WinFuture report suggests that the smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 12, which if true, will be disappointing. Also, contrary to this claim, the device was spotted with Android 13 on Geekbench some time back.
The Samsung Galaxy A24, going by leaked renders, will offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter. It is said to be accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone might offer a 13MP shooter for video calls and selfies. It is said to offer a 3.5mm audio jack and Dolby Atmos audio support.
The upcoming A-series smartphone is tipped to offer a 5000mAh battery unit. It will reportedly feature support for 15W charging over a Type-C port. However, as per TUV certification, the device will offer 25W fast charging support. This means that the upcoming A-series smartphone might support 25W fast charging but the company might bundle a 15W charging adapter in the retail box.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 will come in three colour options – Green, Black, and Silver. It is said to offer a dedicated microSD card slot that might accept up to 1TB of external cards. On the security front, it will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as can be seen in leaked renders. The smartphone is also tipped to feature support for NFC and offer dual-SIM connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 might launch in the Middle East soon and it will carry a price of around € 200, which translates to around Rs 18,000, for the 4GB + 128GB as per the leak.
