Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Expected Specifications
The leaked marketing materials reveal a design similar to the renders leaked by MySmartPrice. Samsung will equip the smartphone with a waterdrop notch and fairly sizeable bezels on all four sides of the display. The upcoming Galaxy A25 5G will sport a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Super AMOLED display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+ certification. The marketing materials highlight the brightness and eye protection capabilities of the device. Under the hood, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will feature an in-house Exynos 1280 chipset, built on a 5nm fabrication process. The chipset features two Cortex A78 cores at 2.4GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G68 MP4 GPU.
The smartphone will run on OneUI 6 based on Android 14 out of the box. Samsung is tipped to provide the device with four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The chipset will pair with up to 6 / 8GB RAM and 128 / 256GB internal storage with support for expanding storage. The material divulges that Samsung will equip the device with support for expanding storage up to 1TB using a micro SD card.
The upcoming Galaxy A25 5G smartphone will feature a triple-rear camera setup with a placement similar to other Galaxy smartphones. The triple rear camera setup will comprise a 50MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The primary sensor will pair with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The waterdrop notch will house the 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone will be backed by a large 5000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A25 5G will be available in three colour options. The marketing material reveals that the device has a dimension and weigh of 161 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm and 197 grams. The consumers will have to purchase the 25W charging adaptor separately. The smartphone is tipped to price between EUR 269 (approx. Rs 24,600) and EUR 289 (approx. Rs 26,400) in Germany.
