Samsung is gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone in India dubbed as Samsung Galaxy M02. The smartphone was recently listed on numerous certification websites and now the support page goes live on the official website hinting towards an imminent launch. Here’s a look at the information available support forum.

The smartphone is listed on the India support page with model number Samsung SM-M025F. The same model number was listed on Geekbench and NEMKO AD certifications as well. The listing shows common topics like how to check software updates on my Mobile Phone, how to increase memory space and response time in Galaxy Phones, and a lot more among the others. Considering the listing on India support page we can safely assume that the company is planning to launch the phone as soon as coming December.

Samsung Galaxy M02 Rumored Specifications

Thanks to the Geekbench database we get to know more about the specifications of the phone. According to the Geekbench listing the Galaxy M02 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, clubbed with 3GB of RAM. However, we are expecting to see more RAM variants of the upcoming entry-level smartphone. On the software front, the smartphone will boot Android 10 operating system out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy M02 managed to record 128 in the single-core test and 486 in the multi-core test. Readers must be made aware that the Geekbench V5 has been used for this benchmarking.

Reports also claim that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A02 rebranded as Galaxy M02 in different markets. The Galaxy M02 is also going to be fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery because the smartphone shares similar specs with the Galaxy A02.
