Samsung is reportedly in the works to launch a new mid-range Android smartphone, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M12. So far, we have received plenty of leaks surrounding the device, which include its leaked renders and some key specifications. Today, we have been able to spot the Samsung Galaxy M12 on the Bluetooth SIG certification website and the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website, which confirms its moniker and reveals another interesting fact about the device. Take a look at the Bluetooth SIG certification and the Wi-Fi Alliance certification for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M12 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.

Samsung Galaxy M12 moniker confirmed, launch seems imminent

As seen in the Bluetooth SIG certification and Wi-Fi Alliance certification images, the Samsung Galaxy M12 (with the model numbers SM-M12FG/DS and SM-F12G/DS) have recently been certified. The model number SM-M12FG seems natural and falls in line with the name of the device.

That said, the model number SM-M12FG is a bit odd and could potentially mean that the brand might launch the device as the Samsung Galaxy F12 smartphone in some regions. This, however, is our speculation as of now, so we would suggest our readers take it with a slight grain of salt until the time things become officially clear. Nevertheless, the Wi-Fi Alliance certification reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M12 will run on Android 11 OS out of the box. Other than what we have mentioned so far, the Bluetooth SIG certification and the Wi-Fi Alliance certification don’t tell us anything else about the Samsung Galaxy M12.

However, previous rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M12 will feature a 6.55-inch waterdrop notch display. At the back, the device will come with a square-shaped camera module, which will house four cameras. The Samsung Galaxy M12 will sport a USB Type-C charging port and will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack.
