The Galaxy M42 5G support page is now live on Samsung’s India website. The device is listed with the model number as SM-M426B/DS. This is the same model, which had recently gained the required BIS certification. Apart from the BIS certification, the Galaxy M42 5G was even spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certifications a few weeks back. Last year, the same handset even had cleared the 3C and DEKRA certification. The 3C listing had revealed that the phone could pack a 6000mAh battery capacity. As far as the specs of the Galaxy M42 5G go, they do remain unknown at the moment.

Previous rumours however suggest us that the Galaxy M42 5G will pack 128GB of internal storage, and it might feature a 64MP primary camera. It is also believed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A42 5G smartphone in India soon, as the device had already cleared the BIS certification. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 750 5G SoC. The smartphone comes in 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options along with 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of imaging, the A42 sports a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP primary camera. The other three sensors the device incorporates at the rear include an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies and video-calling, the A42 5G features a 20MP camera. The whole package is fueled by a 5000mAh battery that offers 15W charging support.
