The Samsung Galaxy S Ultra series has been the talk of the town for its powerful cameras and specifications. The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is scheduled to launch in January 2024 and most details have already been leaked. Leaked images have also revealed a familiar design similar to its predecessor. Now, popular tipster Revengus or @Tech_Reve has revealed the camera roadmap for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Let’s take a look at the new details revealed by the latest leak.
Samsung Galaxy S Ultra Camera Roadmap Leaked
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to come with a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 primary camera sensor with features like ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace, AI Image Stacking, Improved 4K Zoom, and more. Now, the leakster has confirmed that the upcoming flagship will come with a folded telephoto camera featuring a 50MP sensor with a 0.7um pixel size. The leaker has not confirmed the zoom details but it’s expected to be either 3x or 5x optical zoom.
The leak doesn’t stop with the folded telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra but also reveals details of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the tipster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature an upgraded main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a folded telephoto camera with variable capabilities. This means the telephoto lens of the smartphone will come with variable zoom. This makes Samsung the second brand to offer variable telephoto lenses after Sony. The 50MP ultra-wide angle lens will be a good upgrade with support for pixel binning for clear low-light pictures and 8K video recording.
Lastly, the tipster also claims that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a 200MP wide-angle sensor with 0.7um pixel size and a 1/1.10 inch sensor. The sensor size brings it closer to the 1-inch format and will be a huge upgrade for the Galaxy S Ultra series smartphones. As of now no other details of Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra are available and we suggest taking this leak with a pinch of salt as there’s still a lot of time left in launch. And while Revengus is a fairly new leaker, they have had a fairly good run when it comes to leaks.
