Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new 5G smartphone. The company is working on launching the Galaxy Wide5 very soon. It looks like the device will launch in select markets with the mentioned moniker. Samsung is yet to announce the official launch details of the upcoming device. Ahead of the launch, the phone is listed on the Geekbench website. It has the model number SM-E426S. The listing on Geekbench reveals some key details of the upcoming Samsung phone. Samsung Galaxy Wide5 specifications leaked via Geekbench

Samsung Galaxy Wide5 could launch in India as the Galaxy F42 5G. The phone is listed on Geekbench ahead of the official launch. The listing on Geekbench confirms some key details of the upcoming Samsung phone. It has a MediaTek MT6833V SoC, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The phone listed on Geekbench has 6GB of RAM. It runs Android 11 out of the box is expected to have a layer of One UI 3.1 on top of the Android mobile operating system.

The device scores 558 and 1513 in Geekbench’s single core and multi-core tests. Other details of the device were revealed via a Google Play Console listing. The device will have a 1080 x 2009 display resolution and feature a Mali G57 GPU. It will have a water-drop notch and a slightly thick chin bezel. It also reveals that the phone could launch as a rebranded Galaxy F42 5G in India, which in turn is more or less a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G. Previously, the monikers of the devices were confirmed via a Bluetooth SIG listing. The Galaxy F22 5G was also listed as Galaxy Buddy and Galaxy Wide5.

This means that the phone will feature a 6.6-inch TFT LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the back, the phone will have a triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary main camera. The camera module will also include a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There will be an 8MP front camera. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
