Samsung Galaxy Z Series Battery Certification
The Safety Korea certification reveals that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will debut with batteries with the EB-BF956ABY and EB-BF957ABY model numbers. Including two batteries in the certification hints that Samsung will continue the dual-battery cell setup on the foldable phones similar to their predecessors.
The EB-BF956ABY battery was also recently spotted on BIS certification by 91Mobiles. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable smartphone has been certified by Safety Korea with the EB-BF741ABY and EB-BF742ABY model numbers.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 batteries were also recently certified by BIS with the EB-BF741ABE and EB-BF742ABE model numbers. The battery capacity of the upcoming foldable smartphones is unknown at the moment.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6: What We Know So Far
Sammobiles revealed that Samsung will launch the smartphones at a Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be hosted on July 10 in Paris, France. The CAD renders of the smartphone were leaked recently, confirming that Samsung will debut the smartphone with minor changes.
The report reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will sport 7.6-inch and 6.7-inch inner screens, respectively. The upcoming Galaxy Z series smartphones are tipped to equip the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy SoC.
Samsung is also likely to equip the smartphones with the Galaxy AI features that debuted with the Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will sport a triple rear camera and dual-rear camera setup, respectively.
