The beta version gives testers an opportunity to experience the new software version ahead of everyone else. This certainly looks exciting but do note that beta builds are known to be unstable. You may find yourself facing unwanted issues and certain apps/features/services not working as intended. This is the reason we suggest you install a beta build only if you are okay with facing any unfavourable situation. Otherwise, you can wait until the stable update arrives.

One UI 6 Beta Android 14 Features

The One UI 6 beta update is based on Android 14, the upcoming major Android version. This new software version is under beta testing by Google on Pixel and other supported devices. Since One UI is a custom Android skin from Samsung, it will have its own take on the new Android version.

Samsung says One UI 6 beta comes with a new default font style that users will notice right away. The team has added new emojis to the Samsung Keyboard application. The Quick Panel has undergone a change too as it will now make it easier for users to access their most used features. The brightness control bar has been added to the Quick Panel by default in the new version.

Users can now swipe down from the upper right corner to access quick settings much faster. Samsung has also made changes to personalization features in the beta. It is now allowing users to set different lock screens based on specific Routines and Modes. There is a new camera app widget that will let users pre-select a camera mode and storage location storing media files.
