Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR launched as the latest addition to Sony’s Alpha 7C series of compact full-frame interchangeable lens cameras. The Japanese camera maker claims that the new Alpha 7C series cameras are designed to cater to almost all photography needs. The Alpha 7C II is the second generation offering in the Alpha 7C series whereas the Alpha 7CR is a brand new addition to the lineup. Both new launches are compact full-frame interchangeable lens cameras with BIONZ XR processors from the brand and a dedicated AI processing unit. The Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR can be purchased from Sony Center, Alpha
Flagship stores, Sony authorized dealers, Amazon, Flipkart, and major electronic stores across India. These cameras will go on sale in India starting November 3. The Sony Alpha 7C II can be purchased for Rs 2,14,990 for the body only and Rs 2,43,990 for the body + 28-60mm Zoom Lens combo. It can be purchased in Black and Silver colours. Sony is yet to announce the price, availability date, and colours of the Alpha 7CR.

The Sony Alpha 7C II features a 33-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. Sony claims that the camera is 22% lighter and 45% smaller than the Alpha 7 IV. It comes with the proprietary AI processing unit from Sony, real-time recognition AF, video recording up to 4K60p, Sony's S-Cinetone colour science for cinematic video, Active Mode in-body image stabilisation, and AI-based Auto Framing.
