Sony has announced a new PlayStation 5 (PS5) price drop in India to kick off the new year. The latest discounted prices for select bundles across the country. These bundles are for the EA Sports FC 24, Cricket 24, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundles. Sony PlayStation 5 Bundle Price Drop Details

Sony announced the latest PlayStation 5 price drop via its official social media accounts. There’s flat Rs 4,000 off on the PlayStation 5 FC 24, Cricket 24, and CoD: Modern Warfare 3 bundles. It means you do not need to have a particular bank card or meet any other specific criteria to avail of the discount.

The best part is that this PlayStation 5 offer is not limited to any particular set of retailers. Sony says discounted pricing can be grabbed at ShopatSC, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and other participating retailers. You should be able to get the same deal through offline retailers.

For context, here are the usual pricing of the aforementioned bundles:

  • Sony PlayStation 5 EA Sports FC 24 bundle for Rs 59,390
  • Sony PlayStation 5 CoD Modern Warfare 3 bundle for Rs 59,390
  • Sony PlayStation 5 Cricket 24 bundle for Rs 57,990

In other related news, Sony has already unveiled the PlayStation 5 slim version in select markets. It is the same as the original release but comes with more storage space, a thinner profile, and a new design. The onboard storage capacity has been increased from 825GB to 1TB. It has over 30% volume reduction and weighs about 18% and 24% less than the previous models. There is currently no information on when the PlayStation 5 slim version will launch in India.

Sony is widely rumoured to be working on the PlayStation 5 Pro as well. This is the version tipped to bring performance improvements over the existing PS5.
