Vivo is rumoured to debut the successor to the Vivo Pad 2 tablet soon in China. The company will likely debut the Vivo Pad 3 tablet alongside the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone. Vivo is reportedly working on the third generation of foldable smartphones in China.

The upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphones are also tipped to debut alongside the Vivo Pad 3 tablet. Digital Chat Station, a well-known previously revealed the chipset details of the upcoming tablet. The tipster has shared a few more details of the forthcoming tablet from Vivo.

Vivo Pad 3 Expected Specifications

Digital Chat Station confirms that the Chinese smartphone giant will debut the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. MediaTek made the global debut of the chipset with the launch of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones recently. Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO also launched the iQOO Neo 9 smartphone with the same chipset.

The Dimensity 9300 chipset is fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm process and sports one Cortex-X4 core at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz and Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12. The chipset is said to offer 15% better performance than its predecessor.

Digital Chat Station divulges that iQOO will also debut the successor to the iQOO Pad with the same Dimensity 9300 chipset. MySmartPrice recently spotted the upcoming iQOO Pad Air tablet in the Google Play-supported devices list. Digital Chat Station further reveals that Vivo will equip the forthcoming tablet with a conventional screen with huge bezels.

The company will likely continue to ship the Pad 3 tablet with an IPS display. Vivo will equip the forthcoming tablet with dual rear cameras. The tipster also reveals that Vivo will debut another tablet in China with an 8.8-inch display. The Chinese smartphone giant aims to debut an affordable tablet with a lower 8.8-inch display.

Vivo debuted the Vivo Pad 2 tablet alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 foldable smartphones in April 2023. The company equips the Vivo Pad 2 tablet with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1968 x 2800 pixels resolution. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz, HDR10 certification, a peak brightness of 600 nits, a pixel density of 284 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 86.6%.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset fabricated on a 4nm process. The chipset features Cortex X2, Cortex A710, Cortex A510 cores and Mali G710 MC10 GPU. The chipset pairs with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo equips the tablet with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The primary sensor is paired with a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The tablet features an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The tablet is backed by a 10000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging tech. Vivo also equips the tablet with 5W reverse wired charging support. The Vivo Pad 2 tablet is available in Gray, Blue and Violet colour options.
