Vivo recently launched its new mid-range smartphone series in India. The company launched the T2x and T2 5G as its new smartphones under Rs 20,000 in India. It has been a few days since the launch and the company has now confirmed that the T2 5G will go on sale at midnight on April 18.

The Vivo T2 5G has been launched with two storage options in India. The base model of the phone packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 18,999. There is an 8GB + 128GB variant of the phone as well, which is priced at Rs 20,999. The device has been launched in two colour options — Velocity Wave and Nitro Blaze.
As part of the launch offers, customers who buy the phone during the first sale, which starts at 12 am on April 18, can get a Rs 1,500 discount on the T2 5G. Bank cards eligible for the discount are HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI.
Vivo T2 5G: Should You Buy?
The ultimate selling point of the T2 5G is its design and some hardware upgrades. The phone has a gradient colour pattern with a slim body. The device weighs about 172 grams and measures 158.91 x 73.53 x 7.8mm. It also features a flat frame design, which is in line with the ongoing smartphone design trend.
The phone also packs some decent hardware for the price. It features an AMOLED display with support for a high refresh rate. The design is also quite compact with a 6.38-inch display. In addition to this, the device offers support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) for the primary camera. However, the processor is not the most powerful one in the segment.
