Vivo V23 5G, and Y21T Smartphones Model Numbers Revealed in NBTC Listing

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V23 series phones in India on January 5, 2022. The company is expected to unveil Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G smartphones next week. In the last few weeks, the Vivo V23 series specifications and features were leaked and also some of the features were confirmed by the company itself. Now, with just a few days ahead of the launch, the Vivo V23 5G has bagged a new certification. Along with this, the upcoming Vivo Y21T has also bagged the certification 一 hinting at an imminent launch. Let’s take a look at more details of the two smartphones.

Vivo V23 5G and Vivo Y21T Spotted on NBTC

The Vivo V23 5G with model number V2130 and Vivo Y21T with V2131 model number has been spotted on National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Council Committee (NBTC) certification site – this website also confirms monikers of both phones along with their model numbers. Apart from the model number and phone name, the listing has not revealed any further information.

Vivo V23 5G Expected Specs

As per the previous reports, the Vivo V23 5G will be powered by a Dimensity 920 SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. To the front, the device will sport a Full HD+ display, which is likely to be an AMOLED panel. The Vivo V23 will be equipped with a 4,200mAh battery and 44W fast charging and is said to boot Android 12 out of the box.

Further, the Vivo V23 5G will offer a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The device is also said to be India’s first colour changing design.

Vivo Y21T Expected Specs

The Vivo Y21T is tipped to sport Snapdragon 680 4G SoC. It is said to come in a 4GB+128GB single configuration. In terms of camera, the Vivo Y21T will offer a triple camera setup led by a 50MP main snapper. The device will sport a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device could launch in India on January 3.
