Vivo has officially unveiled the first smartphone in the Vivo V29 series, the Vivo V29. The company has confirmed that this latest device will be launched in Europe. While the pricing of the smartphone is yet to be revealed, the company has confirmed all the specifications of the handset. The Vivo V29 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core chipset. Furthermore, the handset features a 50MP camera and also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Vivo V29 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The screen has a 1.5K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a 452 PPI pixel density. The display panel has a DCI-P3 cinema-grade colour gamut and three SGS professional-grade eye protection certifications. Under the hood, the V29 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor which is paired with an Adreno 642L GPU. Furthermore, the device comes with 8GB of RAM and also has 8GB of Virtual RAM support.

The smartphone also has an ultra-large vc bionic cooling system. As for the imaging purpose, the handset features a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP primary camera which has OIS support. The device packs a 4600mAh (typical) battery which supports 80W fast charging. Vivo claims that the battery can be charged to 50% in just 18 minutes. Last but not least, the device also has eSIM support and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Vivo V29 comes in Peak Blue and Noble Black colour options. As mentioned above, Vivo has not revealed the pricing details of the handset, nor the brand has confirmed the market-specific availability of the device. Additionally, the company has yet to reveal the specifications of the Vivo V29 Pro model. The previous leak suggests that the Vivo V29 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8200 SoC. The device is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM.
