Vivo is expected to unveil a new foldable smartphone in China – the Vivo X Fold 3 later this month. Ahead of the launch, Vivo X Fold 3’s design renders and specifications have surfaced on the web, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station.

The design renders reveal that the foldable will come in two colour options—black and White. The tipster further claims the Vivo X Fold 3 will be the lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Vivo X Fold 3: Expected Specifications

Vivo X Fold 3 is tipped to sport a 6.53-inch cover display with a 2748 × 1172 pixel resolution. This will be an LTPO panel with a crystal ceramic glass layer. The folding display on the device is said to be an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 LTPO AMOLED display with a 2480 × 2200 pixel resolution, 3000 nits peak brightness, and UTG protection.

According to leaks, the Vivo X Fold 3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and sport a 5700mAh battery unit. The upcoming foldable has already cleared 3C certification in China, which revealed support for 80W fast charging. It will lack support for wireless charging.

The Vivo X Fold 3 is tipped to come with a 32MP selfie camera on the cover display. The folding display might also have a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Vivo X Fold 3 will reportedly offer a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, 1 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with up to 40x digital zoom.

As per previous reports, the handset might weigh between 220 grams and 230 grams.

For those unaware, Vivo is rumoured to unveil two foldable smartphones under the Fold 3 lineup—the Vivo X Fold 3 and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The company might launch a flagship tablet, the Vivo Pad 3 Pro, alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 series later this month in China.
