Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X100 Ultra smartphone in China in the upcoming month. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, has revealed the camera specifications and technology of the upcoming device. But what is interesting is that this flagship could feature new in-house imaging technology from Vivo. Let’s take a look at what leaks are claiming.

Vivo X100 Ultra Expected Specifications

The tipster reveals that the X100 Ultra will be the first to debut with Vivo’s in-built BlueImage self-developed technology. This self-developed technology is said to incorporate multiple self-developed technical solutions and algorithms.

Other details about ‘BlueImage’ are unknown at this point. It also looks like Vivo will continue with the Zeiss partnership, which is seen on X-series phones and was also extended to the V30 Pro this year.

Tipster Digital Chat Station adds that Vivo has renewed its contract with Zeiss and will introduce several smartphones with Zeiss optics. Another post shared by the tipster reveals that Vivo will equip the smartphone with a 50MP Sony LYT 900 primary camera with a 1-inch sensor size.

Other cameras in the setup will include a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The 200MP periscope telephoto lens will use a Samsung S5KHP9 sensor with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and an f/2.59 aperture. The sensor will have a telephoto lens with an 85mm optical focal length to help produce high-quality telephoto macro shots.

Other expected smartphone specifications include a 6.78-inch Samsung E7 AMOLED panel with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo X100 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device will be backed by a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
