Vivo X100 and X100 Pro Global Variants Spotted on Geekbench, India Launch Expected Early As It Appears on BIS Certification

Vivo will be launching the Vivo X100 series smartphones in China on November 13. Alongside, the X100 lineup, Vivo is also set to launch the Vivo Watch 3. We have been learning new details about the X100 series over the last few weeks through certifications and benchmark test results. Recently, the Vivo X100 Pro design was revealed by Vivo via a teaser image posted on Weibo. The teaser confirmed that the device will debut in four colour options. The device also was spotted was spotted on the Google Play Supported device list. The listing confirmed the moniker and model number of the device as V2324A.

Now, ahead of the official launch, the Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro global variants are spotted on Geekbench. These smartphones also have received the BIS certification in India as well.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro India Launch Seems Imminent

The benchmark test result shows that the upcoming Vivo X100 (V2308) and the Vivo X100 Pro (V2309) global model will be powered by Dimensity 9300 SoC. The Vivo X100 will come with up to 12GB of RAM, while the Pro model will ship with up to 16GB of RAM as revealed by the test result. These devices will boot Android 14 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 14 skin on top.

Both these devices also have received the BIS certification in India, which does indicate one way that they could launch in the country soon. As far as the specifications of the X100 go, it is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP triple-camera setup, and a 32MP selfie camera. The device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery which might support 120W fast charging.

The Vivo X100 Pro model is also supposed to offer the same specifications as that of the vanilla X100 model, except that it might have a different camera configuration and a 4,500mAh battery. The device is tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope sensor at the back, while at the front it might boast a 32MP camera.

Vivo is expected to make use of a Sony IMX920 sensor for the primary 50MP camera on the X100 model, the X100 Pro might include a Sony IMX989 for the primary camera unit. Similar to the X100, the X100 Pro might support 120W fast charging.
