Vivo X100 Series, Watch 3 To Be Announced on November 13

The Vivo X100 series launch date has been officially announced by Vivo today. As per the details shared by the company, the Vivo X100 series will launch in China on November 13. Alongside, the X100 series Vivo will also launch the Vivo Watch 3. The upcoming Vivo X100 series is likely to include three smartphones such as the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and the X100 Pro+. We have been learning new details about the X100 lineup courtesy of several leaks and certifications.

Vivo X100 Could Be Powered By Dimensity 9300 SoC

The Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro are rumoured to ship with Dimensity 9300 SoC, whereas the X100 Pro+ could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. These devices are tipped to feature an AMOLED display which could offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. As for the optics purpose, the X100 and the X100 Pro are rumoured to feature a triple-camera setup. The X100 is supposed to include a Sony IMX920 primary sensor, while the X100 Pro might consists of a Sony IMX989 sensor for the main camera.

The primary sensor on these devices could be accompanied by an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto lens. As per rumours, these devices are expected to include a Samsung JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide lens, while the telephoto camera department could be handled by an OmniVision OV64B sensor.

As for the Vivo X100 Pro+, it could feature a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with OIS. Accompanying the 50MP primary camera there could be a 50MP ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX598 sensor), a 50MP portrait sensor (Sony IMX758 sensor), and a 200MP telephoto periscope camera (Samsung HP3 sensor) with 10x zoom.

As per the recent information revealed by the 3C certification, the Vivo X100 Pro will be offering 120W fast charging support. The JD.com listing yesterday had revealed that the Vivo X100 12GB RAM model with 256GB of internal storage will cost CNY 3999 (Roughly Rs 45,500). Apart from the 12GB RAM model, we can expect the device to also launch in 8GB and 16GB RAM configurations.

Vivo might announce the X100 and the X100 Pro smartphones on November 13, while the X100 Pro+ could be introduced early next year. We shall get to learn the pricing, availability, and detailed specifications of the Vivo X100 and the Watch 3 on November 13.
