Vivo recently debuted the Vivo X100 series smartphones in China. The series consists of Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones. The OEM is working on slightly modified Vivo X100S and Vivo X100S smartphones. Vivo is tipped to launch the Vivo X100 Ultra smartphone in April 2024. The upcoming X100 Ultra smartphone was previously tipped to debut under the X100 Pro+ moniker. Vivo will also debut the Vivo Pad 3 tablet with the upcoming X100 Ultra smartphone.
Vivo is also slated to debut the vanilla X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in the international markets. The recently debuted X100 series smartphones were the first to feature MediaTek’s flagship chipsets. Many other OEMs, including OPPO and Tecno, are slated to equip their upcoming devices with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Digital Chat Station has revealed (via) some information regarding the launch of the forthcoming Vivo X100S and Vivo X100S Pro smartphones.
The leak shared by the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo confirms that Vivo will soon debut the vanilla X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in flat-screen variants. There were previous reports that Vivo would launch the smartphones in two variants at the launch. However, the BBK group-owned brand only debuted the X100 series smartphones in curved panels.
The upcoming smartphones are likely to debut under the Vivo X100S and Vivo X100S Pro monikers. DCS adds that there will be no other differences in the specifications of the upcoming Vivo X100S and Vivo X100S Pro smartphones. Vivo will debut the X100S series smartphones along with Vivo X100 Ultra in April 2024. Vivo is likely to launch the curved screen variants in the international markets.
