Vivo Y100i 5G, Vivo Y36 Launched in China: Price, Specifications

The Vivo Y100i 5G smartphone has been announced in China today. Alongside, the Y100i, Vivo also has launched the Vivo Y36 in China. To recall, the Y36 was launched in 4G and 5G versions in the global market back in May this year. At present, Vivo has not announced the Vivo Y100i 5G specifications. However, the company has detailed the pricing of the device. As for the Vivo Y36, the device is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC which is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The handset features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also has face unlock support for security purposes.

Vivo Y100i 5G, Vivo Y36 Pricing, Availability, Features

As per the released poster, the Vivo Y100i comes in Pink and Blue colour options. The Vivo Y100i 12GB of RAM model with 512GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1,599 (Roughly Rs 18,400). The device will go on sale in China from November 28.

On the other hand, the Vivo Y36 comes in Space Gray, Galaxy Gold, and Fantasy Purple colours. The base model of the Y36 which packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1,399 (Roughly Rs 16,100), while the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage costs CNY 1,599 (Roughly Rs 18,400) and CNY 1,799 (Roughly Rs 20,700). The top-end variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1,999 (Roughly Rs 23,000) and CNY 2,399 (Roughly Rs 27,500) respectively.

The Vivo Y36 is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 6020 SoC. The device features a 6.56-inch display that has an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone packs up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a face unlock support.

The device flaunts a 13MP single rear-facing camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The whole package draws power from a 5,000mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging. Dimensions-wise, the device measures around 163.74mm × 75.43mm × 8.09mm, and weighs about 186g.
