Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is expected to launch a new Y-series smartphone in India later this month. Dubbed Y95, the smartphone will come with a Halo FullView display, similar to the company’s recent V-series smartphones like the V11 and V11 Pro. Ahead of launch, we have accessed two images showing the smartphone’s retail box, along with a promotional image.

The Vivo Y95 retail box and promotional image make it quite clear that the smartphone will come with a Halo FullView display, featuring a tiny waterdrop-style notch at the top. At the rear, Vivo Y95 will a dual-camera setup with the two sensors stacked vertically, similar to the V-series smartphones released by the company recently. They also highlight one key feature of the Y95 – a 20MP AI selfie camera.

The Vivo V95, as mentioned earlier, will sport a Halo FullView display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, the exact display size of the handset has not been confirmed yet. Under the hood, Vivo Y95 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset under the hood, as can be seen in the Geekbench listing below. In terms of memory, the budget Android smartphone will come equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For further expansion, the Y95 will have a microSD card slot as well. One of the key highlights of the Vivo Y95 will be a 20MP AI selfie camera, which should help make the smartphone popular among younger buyers. The Vivo Y95 is expected to be an impressive performer in the battery life department as well, thanks to a large 4030mAh capacity battery. As for color options, the Vivo Y95 will be available in a single color initially – Gold. On the software front, Vivo Y95 will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS out of the box.
