
Sennheiser has launched three new audio accessories including two earbuds and a headphone at the ongoing CES 2024. These include Momentum True Wireless 4, Momentum Sport, and Accentum Plus.
For context, the Momentum True Wireless 4 is the newest flagship earbuds from the brand and successor to Momentum True Wireless 3, whereas the Sennheiser Momentum Sport is designed for Fitness enthusiasts. Finally, the Accentum Plus are over-the-ear wireless headphones. Let’s take a look at the price and specifications of these new offerings.
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4, Momentum Sport, Accentum Plus Price, Availability
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 will be available to pre-order starting February 15 and is priced at $299 (~Rs 25,000). It will be sold in black copper, metallic silver, and graphite colours. The Sennheiser Momentum Sport is also priced the same and will be available from April 9. Sennheiser will offer Momentum Sport in polar black, burned olive, and metallic graphite colours. Lastly, the Accentum Plus will be sold in Black and White options for $229 (~Rs 19,000) from February 20. All of these can be picked from the official Sennheiser website and major retailers.
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Specifications
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 is the latest flagship from the brand in its premium earbuds lineup. The new earbuds comes with support for Qualcomm’s AptX Lossless technology designed to deliver lossless CD-quality audion when connected to a compatible device. Additionally, the Momentum True Wireless 4 features Bluetooth LE audio and Auracast, which allows one-to-many broadcasting.
The premium earbuds also comes with Active Noise Cancellation for clear audio output. Sennheiser has assured rated battery backup of up to 7.5 hours from the earbuds itself. The backup increases to a total of up to 30 hours with the charging case. The case itself supports Qi wireless or USB Type-C charging.
Sennheiser Momentum Sport Specifications
The Momentum Sport is a durable and rugged earbuds designed for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts with curated features. The highlight of the Sennheiser Momentum Sport is heart rate tracking using a built-in photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, which syncs data with sports devices and apps from Apple, Garmin, Strava, Peloton, and Polar.
Sennheiser particularly mentions the Polar Vantage V3 smartwatch, which can connect to Momentum Sport and collect biometric data in real time during the workout. These earbuds are IP55 rated to withstand dust and water or sweat splashes. Other features include ANC, up to six hours of battery backup (earbuds), up to 24 hours of backup (charging case), USB-C, Qi wireless charging, and AptX Adaptive support.
Sennheiser Accentum Plus Specifications
The Accentum Plus is an upgraded version of the Sennheiser Accentum that launched last year. It brings a carry case and aptX Adaptive codec support that was missing from the regular Accentum model. The latest model comes with touch controls, multipoint connectivity, and a 3.5mm audio jack to plug in a wired audio source. Sennheiser assures up to 50 hours of battery life and five hours of listening with just 10 minutes of charging through a USB Type-C port.
