Xiaomi 14 Ultra Listed on EEC Portal

A new Xiaomi device has been spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website. The model number is mentioned as 24030PN60G, which corresponds to the global variant of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra as per the IMEI database.

The listing indicates that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could soon launch in European markets. If we look at the model number closely, the numbers 24 and 03 indicate that the device could launch by March 2024. Xiaomi has registered two different model numbers, 24030PN60C and 24030PN60G, where the alphabets C and G stand for China and GLobal variants respectively.

Xiaomi has not officially announced the Xiaomi 14 Ultra yet. As of now, the company has launched only two devices under the Xiaomi 14 Series, the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Previously, the camera specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra were tipped by Digital Chat Station. As per the Weibo post, the device is rumoured to feature a 1-inch Sony LYT900 sensor, along with three 50MP sensors. The cameras are expected to be powered by Leica lenses, with variable aperture.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also expected to retain the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Another DCS report suggests that the device could feature a curved AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution.

If we look at the Xiaomi 13 Series, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra featured a similar screen size as the Xiaomi 13 Pro. However, the Ultra saw a major upgrade in camera with an additional periscope lens capable of 5X optical zoom. It also received a larger capacity battery.

Similar upgrades are expected on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, over the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Given the launch timeline for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could launch in global markets by April 2024, which is similar to the date derived from the model number of the phone.

In other news, an additional Redmi device was also spotted on the EEC portal, with the model number 23129RN51X. However, additional details of the device are not available yet. This mysterious Redmi phone could be unveiled before the end of this year, as per its model number.
