Xiaomi Pad 6 Series Specifications Tipped; To Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 14-inch Display

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Pad 5 earlier this year in India. The company launched its new Android tablet with a Snapdragon 860 SoC under the hood. It looks like the next generation of the Xiaomi Pad is already in the works. According to a new report, Xiaomi Pad 6 will launch with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The leaked specs revealed by tipster Digital Chat Station (via) suggest that the Pad 6 series will have multiple models, one of which will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi Pad 6 specifications, features and other details known so far.

Xiaomi Pad 6 series is expected to get some major upgrades later this year. The new Android tablet series will first debut in China. Xiaomi could launch the new tablet later this year or in early 2023 in India. While we wait for some official launch details for the Chinese market, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that a 14-inch variant of the Pad 6 will launch in China. This particular variant will take on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which was launched earlier this year in India and other markets with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 is also said to feature the same SoC for the 14-inch variant. Xiaomi will launch the 14-inch variant with a competitive price to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, according to the tipster.

One of the other models will also feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. The Pad 6 series will pack up to 9000 mAh battery under the hood. Other specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Pad models remain unknown.
