Xiaomi has launched a new streaming device called the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. The latest streaming stick from the company is the successor to the Mi TV Stick Full HD model which was also launched in India last year. The newly launched Xiaomi TV Stick 4K, as the name suggests will support 4K content and it is also said to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The stick runs on Google’s Android TV 11 OS and it does offer support for Google Assistant, apps and games. Xiaomi TV Stick 4K Specs and Features

The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K is a portable media streaming device with support for up to 4k resolution. The stick also supports Dolby Vision content and it terms of audio, it offers Dolby Atmos DTS HD sound signature. It is a plug and play device and can be connected to any TV with an HDMI port. It basically converts your non smart TV to a smart TV. The stick runs on Android TV 11 OS along with Patchwall UI which is Xiaomi’s custom skin for TVs. The streaming stick will offer over 4,00,000+ movies and shows across apps and will give access to over 7,000 apps and games from Google Play Store. Further, there is built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast. In terms of hardware, it is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A35 CPU coupled with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. Lastly, it comes with a companion Bluetooth remote with hotkeys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Assistant, Patch Wall along with back, home, volume controls, and power keys.

Currently, the company has not announced the pricing of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. But, this device is likely to take on the Realme 4K Stick with Google TV and Chromecast with Google TV.
