This is a list of smartphones that use the Snapdragon 625 chipset from Qualcomm. Introduced in February 2016, the Snapdragon 625 is a budget SoC that was used on several popular smartphones. As of 2020, the Snapdragon 625 has been succeeded by newer and faster alternatives like the Snapdragon 660 and the Snapdragon 675. The Snapdragon 625 integrates an octa-core CPU with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores that clock up to 2 GHz. The graphics part is handled by the Adreno 506 GPU. The SoC also integrates the X9 LTE (Cat 7, 4G+, 300 Mbps down, 150 Mbps up) modem and supports 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. Being al older chipset, it is based on a 14nm FinFet manufacturing process. Redmi Note 7 Gets Low Light Camera Mode; Redmi 6 Pro to Soon Get Dual VoLTE Support
A week after its launch in India, a new software update has arrived to bring night mode to the Redmi Note 7. This mode allows for better photography in low-light situations. The update is fairly small in size and will bring the software version up to MIUI 10.2.7.0. On the other hand, the Redmi 6 Pro is about to get dual VoLTE support.
