The Realme P3 is a solid choice for budget users seeking top-notch performance. Its new chipset ensures smooth gaming, and the 6,000mAh battery supports long sessions. Despite its large chin, the vibrant display enhances viewing.
However, the software, while smooth, comes with bloatware, and the camera struggles with lighting inconsistencies. Still, for power-hungry users, its a great pick. If you prefer a cleaner software experience, the CMF Phone 1 is a compelling alternative.

The Motorola G85 brings a sleek design, a curved pOLED display, outstanding battery life, and impressive speaker performance. For those who appreciate a stylish phone, Motorola has ensured that this device caters to their needs. With a curved screen offering vibrant, punchy colours, it's a standout option in the sub-Rs 20,000 range. On the camera front, it captures social media-ready photos, though they may appear artificial. While the phone can handle demanding tasks without issue, it does tend to heat up after extended use. If you're after a phone with a clean and straightforward software experience, this one checks all the right boxes.

The OnePlus Nord CE4, starting at Rs 24,999, offers reliability with its sleek design and powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Gaming is smooth, and the robust battery with 100W fast charging ensures you stay powered up. While its cameras excel in daylight, low-light performance could be better. Opting out of bloatware is a plus, but longer software support would be appreciated. Overall, it's a solid choice under Rs 25,000 for those seeking dependable performance.

The Vivo Y200 5G caters to those who prioritise staying stylishly up-to-date while constantly on the move. The Eco-Fiber leather makes the phone look modern and chic. It comes with a 5000mAh battery that can extend usage up to a full day. This device has a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP bokeh camera, and a flicker sensor. It delivers adequate picture quality during the day, albeit with a tendency to over-brighten faces. However, its edge detection capabilities leave room for improvement. The performance from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC isn’t the best in class, so, If performance and gaming rank high on your priority list, you might want to explore other options. Nevertheless, considering its price point, you get a really nice 120Hz AMOLED display along with good dual stereo speakers. The UI is decent but keep an eye out for bloatware on this smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is a budget-friendly option for OnePlus fans with good battery life, decent performance and fast charging. The tall display and lime color of the phone are also great features. However, for a better multimedia experience, the Redmi Note 12 5G or Moto G82 5G may be better options. While the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G has received some upgrades, they may not be groundbreaking. Nonetheless, it's a great choice for a OnePlus loyalist looking for a phone under Rs. 20,000.

Overall, the Realme 12 Pro is a solid mid-range contender with much to offer. The beautiful display, unique design, long-lasting battery life, and fast charging make it a compelling option for many.
However, if you're a power gamer or require exceptional outdoor visibility, you might want to look for a phone with a more powerful processor or a brighter display. The Realme Narzo 70 Pro, Vivo T3, POCO X6 Pro, or Nothing Phone (2a) are some good alternatives.

The Realme P1 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate that offers a bright viewing experience in most conditions. While it supports 950 nits of peak brightness, it may falter under glaring sunlight. In terms of design, the device closely resembles its cousins, the Realme 12 Series, with the distinguishing feature of a feather-textured finish on the back panel. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, the P1 Pro easily handles everyday tasks such as calling, messaging, and casual browsing. The device is capable of running heavy titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile, though prolonged usage may lead to noticeable temperature increases. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. While the primary camera delivers decent results, distant or low-light shots may appear grainy. The selfie camera, however, captures social-media-ready images without the need for editing. Running on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14 out-of-the-box, the software offers extensive customisation options, albeit accompanied by bloatware that’s thankfully deletable. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, it can easily last through a day of light to heavy usage. In conclusion, the Realme P1 Pro is a solid option for those seeking a smartphone with commendable battery life, solid performance, and a smooth display.

If you're in the market for an affordable 5G phone with a nice smooth display, vegan leather back finish, and a 5000mAh battery pack, then the Moto G34 5G could be your go-to choice. It boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a punch-hole notch and 120Hz refresh rate, this phone ensures visibility even under bright sunlight. Snapping pics is a breeze with its 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 16MP selfie cam. At this price point, users get a pretty decent camera. Its Snapdragon 695 SoC is a bit dated, but it can handle light tasks just fine. Plus, with My UX based on Android 14, the interface is clean and clutter-free. While the phone includes a 20W charging adapter in the box, it's only compatible with 18W charging, which may confuse buyers. For the price, you're getting a bang for your buck with decent speakers, killer battery life, and a subtle, near-stock UI.

Poco X3 Pro is the ideal mid-range phone in the market for power-hungry users. It has pretty much everything you need. Big screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate, Android 11-based software, decent cameras on both sides and IP rating for splash-proof resistance. You also get long battery backup with 33W fast charging supported. However, the only drawbacks are hybrid storage slot and a bulky design can be uncomfortable to use. Moto G71 5G is the latest mid-range phone to offer future network connectivity. It sports AMOLED display without high refresh rate. The use of Snapdragon 695 chipset with 6GB RAM makes it reliable for daily use. You also get 128GB storage which is not expandable. The triple rear cameras do a good job, and the battery life is effective with 33W fast charging support.

The Realme 6 Pro brings the features that we are used to seeing in the upper mid-range smartphone to the lower mid-range price bracket. The quad-camera setup at the rear, especially, is a show stopper. It features a 64MP primary camera, something that even the flagships like OnePlus 8 don’t offer, a proper telephoto camera, which I think is the first in the segment, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The front camera setup is no slouch; you get a 16MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Then comes the silky-smooth 90Hz display, a first in the segment. And to drive the screen, the powerful Snapdragon 720G SoC. To top things off you get the fastest charging in the segment – 30 watts – to quickly recharge the large 4300mAh battery pack.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G offers a host of interesting features in this price point. The phone is loaded with a 120Hz display, though it misses out on AMOLED panel. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which delivers some good performance in different conditions. The cameras seem to be decent as well, though an ultra-wide-angle lens will be missed. Moreover, the phone also misses the iconic alert slider, which is present in all OnePlus smartphones. That said, if you are looking for a smartphone with fluid user interface and good performance, then you can consider buying OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G.

Realme GT 5G has a lot going for it. It's a power-packed device under Rs 40K with Snapdragon 888 chipset which is impressive. This variant gets 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, which sadly is not expandable. The Super AMOLED display gets 120Hz refresh rate support which is slick and you'll love playing games on it. The OS still has bloatware which is not ideal and the primary camera at the back is a mixed bag. And finally, the 4500mAh battery has a lot to thank for the 65W charging speed for quick juice up. Definite choice for power users, but stay away if you like clicking quality photos.

The Realme XT packs a mean punch for its price tag by offering not just a 64MP camera, but a high-quality display, a good processor and a lightning fast charger, all of which is available at the Rs. 15,000 mark. The phone is also scheduled to get an Android 10 rollout sometime in 2020.

The iQOO Z6 5G is a decent device by iQOO under Rs 20,000 price range. The handset boasts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC, which offers excellent performance. The smartphone features a 50MP camera that takes some good images. The handset runs the latest Android 12 software version and packs a 5,000mAh battery. However, the device supports 18W fast charging only. If your priority is the latest Android 12 version, decent hardware, and 5G support, then the iQOO Z6 5G can be a good option.

The Vivo Z1x is a result of Vivo correcting the mistakes it did with the Vivo Z1Pro. The company has now used an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD panel, an under-display fingerprint reader instead of a rear-mounted one, a 48MP camera instead of a 16MP one, a USB Type-C port instead of a microUSB port, and improved fast charging speeds. The phone now has fast performance, bright and clear screen, good set of cameras, and long battery life. The only area we wish it was better at is the software design. FunTouch continues to be feature-rich but it needs to learn how to look good and behave well, and not mimic iOS’ design.

OPPO A76 is an average mid-range phone that fails to justify its high price tag. It gets a HD+ display, the cameras are basic, but the performance should be satisfying thanks to 6GB RAM on board. The battery life should be good as well. Still, other devices offer a better chance for this money.
