The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion does not attempt to lead the segment in raw performance or camera hardware. Instead, it focuses on a combination of a smooth display, large battery capacity, and a relatively uncluttered software experience.
The quad-curved 144Hz AMOLED display and battery capacity are likely the phones most noticeable strengths in everyday use. At the same time, the Snapdragon chipset delivers performance consistent with other devices in this price range.
At 26,999, the Edge 70 Fusion sits in a competitive part of the market. Its overall approach feels more about providing a stable, well-rounded experience rather than pushing aggressive specifications in any single area.

The Realme P3 is a solid choice for budget users seeking top-notch performance. Its new chipset ensures smooth gaming, and the 6,000mAh battery supports long sessions. Despite its large chin, the vibrant display enhances viewing.
However, the software, while smooth, comes with bloatware, and the camera struggles with lighting inconsistencies. Still, for power-hungry users, its a great pick. If you prefer a cleaner software experience, the CMF Phone 1 is a compelling alternative.

The Vivo X300 FE proves that compact smartphones no longer need to compromise on battery life, cameras, or performance. Its comfortable form factor, excellent telephoto camera, vibrant display, and outstanding battery life make it one of the most well-rounded compact flagships available today. However, its biggest challenge comes from within Vivos own lineup. At its current price, the standard Vivo X300 remains a compelling alternative. The Moto Edge 70 Pro does not dominate the segment in any one area, but that is exactly what makes it so compelling. It delivers strong performance, excellent battery life, a clean software experience, reliable cameras, and a premium design without major compromises. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE nails most essentials for 59,999, offering a vivid display, rich stereo sound, and clean, snappy software in a sleek design. It handles daily tasks well but warms up under heavier loads. Daylight photos shine with detail, though low-light shots lose clarity. While close to a flagship feel, rivals like the Vivo X200 FE and Realme GT 7 Pro provide better value. A price drop could change the equation, making Samsungs latest FE a more compelling buy.

The Moto edge 70 Max delivers a compelling experience for users who prioritise gaming and multimedia. Strong gaming performance, a responsive LTPO display, and a flat design that enhances in-hand comfort make it particularly well-suited for extended play sessions. However, noticeable thermal throttling under sustained workloads, an underwhelming rear camera system, and battery optimisation that falls short of expectations prevent it from being a complete all-rounder. The POCO X7 Pro is a great choice if you're on a budget, want a sleek design, and demand solid performance. While BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile need better optimization, it offers a fantastic display and long-lasting battery for entertainment and daily use. The Samsung Galaxy A57 refines an already familiar formula with a slimmer design, stable performance, and a dependable software experience supported by long-term update support. The display remains a strong point, and the cameras produce natural-looking photos in most conditions. However, peak performance falls behind some similarly priced rivals; the absence of a telephoto lens feels like a missed opportunity; and battery efficiency could be improved. Nonetheless, the Galaxy A57 focuses on providing a balanced everyday experience, making it a sensible choice for users who prioritise consistency, longevity, and overall reliability over chasing standout specifications.

The OnePlus Nord 6 prioritises performance and battery life, particularly for users who engage in gaming or sustained workloads. It maintains stable performance under load, while the battery is capable of lasting beyond a full day with typical use. The primary camera delivers consistent results with good detail and natural colours. The larger form factor, however, can make prolonged usage less comfortable. The Vivo V70 offers a largely well-rounded experience, anchored by a premium build, a strong display, reliable camera performance, and excellent battery life. OriginOS 6 feels smooth and cohesive in everyday use, though frequent notifications from the V App Store detract from an otherwise clean software experience. Performance is sufficient for daily tasks, but gaming limitations, including the 60fps cap in BGMI and noticeable heating during extended sessions, hold it back as a gaming-focused option. The Samsung Galaxy S25 is a solid phone, but its not a revolution. Its an evolution, and a rather conservative one at that. If you loved the S23 and S24, youll probably like this one too. The display along with the tiny form factor and the classy build can score high points amongst all personalities. One UI is brilliant, better than any other Android flagship, and to an extent even stock Android. Moreover, you get seven years of promised upgrades.
So, yes, the cutie-patootie does deliver, but the Galaxy S24 is much better value for money with a recent price drop. It has Galaxy AI features too, and is essentially the same phone in terms of camera and battery performance.

The Vivo T4 5G stands out with its excellent battery life, solid display, and dependable performance for casual use. Its portrait camera shines, though low-light shots need work. While the software is stable and updated regularly, spammy notifications and limited long-term support may be off-putting. The mono speaker also underwhelms. Consider the iQOO Z10 for similar proposition yet speedier performance, the Nothing Phone (3a) for a cleaner UI, or the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion for a more balanced experience.

The Nothing Phone (3a) is a good successor to the Phone (2a) and offers good performance and display experience. The NothingOS is great as usual and the design stands out for sure. The display is also great, making it a perfect sub-Rs 25,000 phone right now.

Starting at Rs 31,999, the OnePlus Nord 5 offers a reliable mid-range experience that focuses on refinement over reinvention. Its 6,800mAh battery holds strong through daily use, coming close to flagship-level endurance. Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the phone handles multitasking and casual gaming smoothly, with no heating issues. While the camera hardware remains unchanged, image quality stays dependable. The new Plus Key replaces the Alert Slider, bringing handy AI features that actually add value. For users of older Nord models, this is a solid upgrade. But if you're already on the Nord 4 or 3, waiting might make more sense. And if premium design matters, the Realme GT 6 series may appeal more. The Nord 5 gets the basics right, and for many, thats more than enough.

The Realme GT 7T strikes an impressive balance between flagship performance and practical usability. Its powerful processor handles demanding tasks effortlessly, while the vibrant display and stereo speakers deliver immersive experiences for gaming and media consumption. The exceptional battery life ensures all-day reliability with remarkably fast charging, eliminating power anxiety. The premium build quality with robust durability feels reassuring in daily use. However, excessive bloatware clutters the experience, and low-light photography could deliver sharper, more detailed images. Despite these drawbacks, the GT 7T confidently delivers where it matters most

The Motorola Signature marks a confident return to the flagship segment. It stands out with its premium design, lightweight ergonomics, refined display, and reliable cameras. Daily performance is smooth, even if it falls slightly short of expectations at its price. The reliance on cloud-based AI features also feels like a missed opportunity. That said, strong optimisation, solid battery life, and seven years of software updates add long-term value. Priced at Rs 60,000, it competes with compact rivals like the Vivo X200FE and OnePlus 13s, while offering a more balanced flagship experience overall.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra shifts focus from hardware to software and AI, offering a more refined experience. While its design is similar to the S24 Ultra, it still features one of the best smartphone displays, impressive performance, and long battery life. The cameras deliver consistent, high-quality results, and One UI 7 adds customization, with Samsung offering seven years of software support. However, it isnt without flaws: the S-Pen lacks Bluetooth, charging speeds are slow, and the shutter speed can miss moments. With the S24 Ultra priced Rs 9,000 lower, it remains a solid choice if you dont need the S25 Ultras new features.

The Realme P4x comes with a few compromises. The LCD lacks AMOLED punch, charging feels slow for such a large battery, the camera struggles in low light, and the software still has some clutter. Speaker output also loses depth at higher volumes.
That said, these issues rarely affect daily use. Performance stays smooth, the high-refresh display feels fluid, battery life easily lasts a day, and the build feels sturdy. Overall, the P4x stands out as a dependable and well-balanced option in its price segment.

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro focuses on delivering a clean and distinctive user experience, highlighted by its unique design and intuitive software. The display is well-balanced, and the cameras, including the telephoto, provide consistent results across different scenarios. Performance remains reliable for daily tasks. However, the pricing, average battery life, and less refined haptics slightly affect its overall appeal, while the IP65 rating feels limited. Still, it remains a well-rounded option for users who value design and software experience.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 is an elegant smartphone with features that would meet the needs of modern, everyday consumers. But as with its predecessors, it carries a similar premium of Rs 30,999 for the base model of 128GB built-in storage to deliver the same.
In the past few years, this upper mid-tier segment has drawn a lot of competition. So, if you want pure specs, you can find better options such as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. Both handsets ship with Qualcomms powerful 7 series processors and quad cameras at the back. If youre looking for beauty with brains, then the Vivo V30 is also a good option, especially considering its the first V series handset with Zeiss certification for imaging.
