OnePlus has officially announced that its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, will launch in India on November 13, 2025. The device will bring a new design, upgraded hardware, and Android 16-based OxygenOS 16. It will be available via Amazon India and the OnePlus online store.
The OnePlus 15 comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Flexible Oriental OLED display featuring a 165Hz refresh rate. The company is ditching its circular camera module this time, opting for a square-shaped triple-camera setup. The rear system will be led by a 50MP primary sensor with improved image processing powered by Oppo’s Lumo Imaging System instead of Hasselblad tuning. The phone will be offered in Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune colours.

Under the hood, the phone will use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM. It will feature eight performance-focused improvements, including the new G2 gaming network chip that promises lower latency and stable frame rates. For gamers, OnePlus will introduce Android’s first Touch Display Sync tech, aimed at improving touch response speeds.
The OnePlus 15 will pack a large 7,300mAh battery with 120W Super Flash wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. It will also include a new Glacier thermal system with aerogel insulation and a thin vapour chamber to manage heat during long gaming or streaming sessions.
While the company hasn’t revealed pricing yet, industry estimates suggest the OnePlus 15 will be priced between Rs 65,000 and Rs 75,000 in India. This keeps it below the Rs 1 lakh mark, maintaining OnePlus’ positioning as an “affordable premium” brand that offers a flagship experience without charging top-tier prices.
The launch comes at a time when India’s premium smartphone segment is growing rapidly. According to market reports, premium smartphone sales are expected to rise by 18% year-on-year, driven by higher disposable incomes and a shift towards experience-based purchases. Apple and Samsung currently dominate this segment, but OnePlus has been making a strong comeback after a dip in 2024 caused by distribution issues.
With renewed offline partnerships and a stronger retail presence, OnePlus aims to regain its share in the premium category. The OnePlus 15 is a key product in this strategy, positioned to compete directly with upcoming flagships like the iQOO 15, and even some already launched ones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 17.
The forthcoming iQOO 15 will likely be the main rival for the OnePlus 15, as it’s expected to feature a 165Hz LTPO AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and 150W charging. Both of these smartphones will still face stiff competition from the likes of the Galaxy S25 and iPhone 17, which, despite offering relatively lower specs on paper, continue to dominate with strong brand loyalty.
OnePlus, on the other hand, has a consistent track record of delivering strong performance and features at competitive prices. The OnePlus 15 appears to follow the same formula. If it delivers on its promises, it could help the company strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing premium smartphone segment once again.
