PUBG Mobile and Free Fire Ban in Bangladesh

According to a Bangladesh-based publication Daily Manab Zamin, government bodies like the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Education has recommended banning PUBG Mobile and Free Fire in the country. The government bodies are suggesting this step to avoid increasing gaming addiction among the youth.

Reports suggest that the topic of banning the game titles is discussed in the Parliamentary Standing Committee in the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications(MPT). The game title seems to be addictive and the Mobile Phone Users Association of the country has demanded to take necessary steps to suspend the games.

The MPT has acknowledged the addictive nature of the game and the rise of addiction in teenagers and young adults. The government confirmed to ban the games in a healthy manner to avoid extreme reactions. The authorities are also aware of the fact that gaming enthusiasts can use VPN for playing the game, but they are yet to reveal anything about how they are going to restrict VPN usage in the country. Indian players are still playing the game since the official ban in the country, all thanks to VPN services.

However, India is finally getting the game back with a new name called Battleroyale Mobile India. The company has officially confirmed the arrival of the game and also started teasing the launch posters. Krafton is yet to reveal the actual launch date of the game but it’s not missing any chance to tease new things about BMI.

Recently the game developers have teased a 15-second long video teaser on its official Twitter handle showcasing the PUBG Mobile level-3 backpack. The teaser suggests that some memories are always special referring to the level-3 backpack.
