The Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have been officially announced at Apple’s Wonderlust event today alongside the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. The newly introduced Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max retain a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch OLED display. These new iPhones feature thinner bezels compared to the previous iPhone 14 model. Both the devices use titanium alloy for chasis instead of stainless steel. The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro are powered by Apple’s latest A17 Pro chipset which is manufactured using a 3nm process. Additionally, these new iPhones now get USB Type-C ports, instead of Lightning one.

The iPhone 15 Pro price starts at $999 (Roughly Rs 82,800), while the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB storage retails for $1199 (Roughly Rs 99,400). The new iPhones will be available for pre-order this coming Friday. The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium colours.

The iPhone 15 Pro price in India starts at Rs 1,34,900 for the 128GB storage model. The variant with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage retails for Rs 1,44,900, Rs 1,64,900, and Rs 1,84,900 respectively. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max price in India starts at Rs 1,59,900 for the 256GB storage model. The variant with 512GB and 1TB of internal storage costs Rs 1,79,900 and Rs 1,99,900 respectively.

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro features a 6.1-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display that has a 2556×1179 pixel resolution and a 460 PPI pixel density. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display that has a 2796×1290 pixel resolution and a 460 PPI pixel density. These new iPhones have a 2,000 nits peak brightness. Both these new iPhones have a Dynamic island cutout for the camera and FaceID. The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max use grade 5 titanium thereby enhancing durability. Powering these new iPhones under the hood there is Apple’s A17 Pro chipset. The new chipset has a six-core CPU and it supports USB 3 transfer speed.

Similar to last year’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max retain a 48MP primary camera. The 48MP sensor has a f/1.78 aperture and sensor-shift OIS. The main camera has a larger sensor as well as next next-generation Portrait mode. The ultra-wide and telephoto cameras now have received a new upgrade compared to the iPhone 14 Pro.
